I had this fun little witch digital stamp from my time as a Design Team member at Pattie G's a few years ago, and I thought she would be perfect for this project.
All of the patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design's Boos & Brews collection. I used some Stickels to enhance the stars and smoke a little, and I found the cute little pom-poms at my local Dollar Tree. Both sentiments and the image on the inside are from Bug Bites.
Now hop on over to Alicia! Here's our spooktacular lineup in case you get lost:
Oh my goodness!!! For whatever reason, my first post as part of the Stinkin' Inkers Design Team didn't show up, and I JUST realized it! So sorry, scrappy folks!!!
The theme for the October Challenge at Stinkin' Inkers is Monster Mash. We want you to create a project using a monster; for example, you could use ghouls, goblins, witches, mummies, space aliens, etc. as your focus. I found a digital stamp in my collection that I thought was perfect for this challenge!
~Bug Bites "Magic Spells" sentiment clear stamp set
~ColorBox ink in Deep Grape
~Doodlebug Design Boos & Brews patterned paper collection
~Fibracolor markers in purple and orange
~Robyn's Fetish "Franky Frankenstein" digital stamp
~ShinHanArt Touch Twin markers--G56 and YR33
~Spectrum Noir markers--CT3, IG8, TN3, and TN5
~Stickles in Orange Slice, Purple, and Yellow
You have until 7 pm on Friday, October 27 to get your Monster Mash project linked up on the Stinkin' Inkers blog. Head over to the blog, too, to see some inspiration from the Design Team. We can't wait to see your projects! Happy scrapping, everyone!
One of my son's teachers and a church friend recently learned that her breast cancer (which she had beaten!) has metastisized. :-( When I found the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew I needed to make a card that I hope will cheer her up!
I hope you've had a great Saturday! I finally had time over the past week or so to make some layouts in my craft room, so I thought I would share one with you tonight. I found this sketch at Let's Get Sketchy:
I've had some "older" photos on my scrap desk for quite a while and decided I would use one to go along with this sketch.
The sketch didn't have a designated place for journaling, so I decided to do my journaling around the edges of the patterned paper pieces.
I can't believe it's the last day of September already! Where has this year gone? Thought I would share my entry for the Sketches in Thyme Sketch #292. Here's the sketch:
Here's my take on the sketch:
This was my youngest son's first birthday; he's now eight! He wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake at first, but when he got into it, he had a blast! Once he was finished, we took him straight to the bathtub, and the water turned red. LOL!
