Grand Turk beach

Hi, everyone!  It's been a while since I was here, so I hope everyone had a great summer and that things are going well for your kids if they've started school.

Today I'd like to share a layout with you that I made for my Scrappin' 'n' Chattin' group's monthly 24-Hour Challenge.  For the challenge, we initially choose three collections we own that we'd like to work with.  The hostess then pairs us up, and when it's "Go Time," she posts three sketches and lets us know which collection and sketch our partner chose for us.  We then have twenty-four hours to complete our layout and post it in our group.  It's quite fun!  This month, my partner chose for me sketch two and Me and My Big Ideas Ocean collection.

I'm also going to enter this at Lasting Memories, as their transportation prompt for this week is "Boats."  I think a cruise ship counts as a boat!  LOL!

I hope you all have a great week!  Happy scrapping!

Stinkin' Inkers April Challenge

The theme for the April Challenge at Stinkin' Inkers is Simply Made.  We want to see projects that are simple with not a lot of "fluff" or projects that are only one layer.  I think of a "Simply Made" project as something like a clean and simple card.  My project is a card that I only used one stamp set to create.

I left the inside of this card blank so it could be personalized for whatever occasion I needed, but my initial thought was that it would be a belated birthday card.

You have until 7 pm on Friday, April 27 to get your Simply Made project linked up on the Stinkin' Inkers blog, and there is a limit of three entries per person.  Head over to the blog, too, to see some inspiration from the Design Team.  We can't wait to see your projects!  Happy scrapping, everyone!

Stinkin' Inkers March Challenge

The theme for the March Challenge at Stinkin' Inkers is Wishy Washi.  Simple!  We want you to use washi tape on your project.  I'm a big planner freak, so I thought I would share with you how I decorate my planner using washi tape!

I love using washi tape on my planner, because I think it makes it fun and more attractive to look at.  You can see how by using just a few different washis that I made my March monthly page look so fun!

You have until 7 pm on Friday, March 30 to get your Wishy Washi project linked up on the Stinkin' Inkers blog, and there is a limit of three entries per person.  Head over to the blog, too, to see some inspiration from the Design Team.  We can't wait to see your projects!  Happy scrapping, everyone!

We love bacon and eggs at our house, so this will be perfect for him!

You have until 7 pm on Friday, February 23 to get your Love Is In the Air project linked up on the Stinkin' Inkers blog.  Head over to the blog, too, to see some inspiration from the Design Team.  We can't wait to see your projects!  Happy scrapping, everyone!
